A mass appears to have been compressed, displaced, restrained, or brought to the verge of collapse, and yet it holds. The work takes shape within this precise interval: between force and resistance, actual stability and imagined fall, weight and breath.
Material is not the subject. It is the site where an invisible pressure becomes visible. Fire, compression, assembly, and risk are not effects; they are forces that leave their trace. Each work retains the memory of what has acted upon it, or the imminence of what might yet occur.
Kadiri does not move from art to design. He carries the same sculptural question from one territory into another. Function may emerge or recede; the language remains.
