Latence
Latence examines how a mass can retain the sensation of movement after coming to rest. The volumes appear propelled horizontally, then abruptly slowed, held back and compressed.

The energy remains present but is never fully released. Two invisible forces appear to act at once: one projects the form forward, as if driven by velocity; the other slows it, crushes it and folds its layers inward.

Deformation becomes the trace of their encounter.

The risk is not a fall, but an internal shift — a shearing between masses. As one moves around it, the sculpture shifts from an almost mechanical organisation to a geological formation.

It describes no specific object; it makes visible a field of forces in which pressure continually transforms matter.
